Massena Memorial Hospital Auxiliary members have collected more than 100 bags of shoes -- over 2,500 pairs -- for the organization’s shoe drive. ‘We are thrilled with the generous response of our community to this project,’ said Auxiliary President Debra Willer, seen here at left organizing the shoes with Auxiliary Secretary Carla Premo. They will be accepting donations in good condition into July at the hospital, in collection boxes outside of the gift shop on the lower level and outside of the public relations offices on the main floor. They are destined for people in the Third World where shoes can be unavailable or unaffordable.
