The Frederic Remington Art Museum's NYS Juried Art Exhibit 2010 has opened in the museum's Richard E. Winter Gallery.Juror Karen Shelby selected 23 works to be in the exhibition, which opened September 25th and will remain on view through January 8th. The artists in the exhibition are: Judy Andrus Toporcer, Colton; Georgette Bacon, Nicholville; Edward M. Basta, Syracuse; William Beebe, Potsdam; Sharon H. J. Cheng, Potsdam; Jan S. Close, Winthrop; John Elwood Cook, Wellesley Island; Danielle Johns, Potsdam; Anni Lorenzini, Chazy; J. Michael Lowe, Ithaca; Hope Marshall, Watertown; Greg McIntyre, Glen Park; Robert E. Montford, Sackets Harbor; John Morrow, Ogdensburg; Austin Overturf, Colton; Valerie Patterson, Malone; Paul N. Pedersen, Hermon; Daniel White - Rarakarenistha, Hogansburg.Many of the works will be for sale. One third of the proceeds benefit the Frederic Remington Art Museum, and two thirds go to the artist.
