A Gouverneur angler was half of the first place team at the Northern New York Bassmasters third tournament of the season on Black Lake July 2. The club competition brought solid largemouth bass to the scales at the end of the day including 19.12 lbs. caught by Doug Kirkbride and Ed Moore, respectively from Beaver River and Gouverneur. which took top honors among the field.
