John Burkum, 15, shot his first deer in West Stockholm during the recent New York state youth deer hunting weekend while hunting with his father, Rob Burkum. The  piebald whitetail buck has seven points and weighed 142 pounds, according to Jared McCargar, who submitted the photo.
