Shawna Cummings, 7, is featured in this photo. On Saturday Oct. 9, the first Shawna's Walk For Wishes was held in Canton. When she was only 2 weeks old, Shawna was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder called MCADD. In October of 2008, she was granted a wish by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central NY. Shawna wanted to "pay it forward" by having a walk-a-thon to raise money.
