Rock solid family in Madrid
Sunday, March 11, 2012 - 8:08 am

Pictured is Lloyd Finnegan picking stones and building the rock wall (notice the reigns in his hand) that still borders County Rt. 14, Madrid. The farm has been in the family since 1920 when the Finnegans moved to Madrid from Louisville with the intent of being closer to Madrid High School where all ten of the Finnegan children attended school. Lloyd was very active in public service, and held the position of Town Supervisor of Madrid for many years, as well as running the farm full time.
