The Hermon-DeKalb National Honor Society and Student Council teamed up with Strandz Hair Salon, Gouverneur, to host a "Pink Hair Extension" Day" for Breast Cancer Awareness on Oct. 20. Krissa O'Donnell, Jamie Tupper, and Alicia Reed graciously donated their time to put in 190 hair extensions for students, faculty, and staff. Approximately $1,200 was raised, and all proceeds will go to the Gouverneur Business Women's Cancer Group. Shown in this photo is Brooke Woodrow, receiving her pink hair extension from Alicia Reed.
