Connie Leary McLaughlin of Brasher, left and Ortha Whitmore Sibbitts of Canton were roommates and sorority sisters in Canton 60 years ago. They were unexpectedly reunited while hospitalized and put in the same room at Canton-Potsdam Hopsital after not seeing each other for six decades. Each has since returned home.
