CANTON — The Yoga Loft in Canton is holding an open house on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
There will be free demo classes, refreshments and door prizes.
Five free demo classes will showcase some of the Yoga Loft’s various teachers and class styles.
They include hatha yoga with Lori Dye from 11:15-11:45 a.m., 50+ yoga with Ellie Beeler from 12-12:30 p.m., gentle yoga with Denise Kerr from 12:45-1:15 p.m., vinyasa yoga with Sarah Scafidi-McGuire from 1:30-2 p.m., and LIIT (Low Intensity Interval Training) with Cintia Hongay from 2:15-2:45 p.m.
All demos are free and completely open to anyone, but class size is limited to 12.
Participants may reserve a spot in a demo class by signing up for classes at www.yoga-loft.org.
Otherwise, spots are first come first serve.
In addition to free demo classes, participants and visitors will have a chance to check out the Loft studio at 21 Miner St.
Renovations started in January 2020. The first in-person classes were held there over a year later in May of 2021.
Guests will have a chance to chat with other students and teachers, and enjoy a variety of refreshments.
Participants and visitors throughout the day will also be entered into a drawing for door prizes including a yoga mat, gift cards to Canton businesses Glow Spa, Luna Boutique, and The Pear Tree, and a skin care basket from Rodan + Fields.
