COLTON -- Two five week sessions of yoga basics will be offered on Tuesdays at Colton-Pierrepont Central School during the spring semester. Session 1 will run from April 17 to May 15 and Session II is scheduled for May 22 to June 19. Class times are 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. or 6 to 7 p.m. Each session is $40. Sorry -- no “drop-ins.”
You don’t need to be thin, flexible, young, or athletic to do yoga. “Yoga Basics” is suitable for all levels of fitness and designed specifically for individuals who are new to yoga.
Students will be introduced to the foundational poses of Svaroopa yoga (also known as bliss yoga), in an accessible, welcoming environment. You can increase flexibility, enhance vitality, reduce stress and improve overall health.
