After graduating with a degree in creative writing and history from St. Lawrence University in 2004, Aimée Baker earned her MFA from Arizona State University. Her debut poetry collection, Doe, dramatizes the untold stories of missing and unidentified women across the United States. Doe was selected by poet Allison Joseph as winner of the 2016 Akron Prize and subsequently published by the University of Akron Press.
