POTSDAM -- Works by Frédéric Chopin will performed in a Crane faculty recital 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 in Snell Music Theater at SUNY Potsdam.
Paul Wyse will perform selections from Chopin's "Nocturne," Scherzo Nos. 1 and 3, the famous "Fantasy Impromptu," and the Sonata No. 2 in B Flat Minor Opus 35, which includes the well-known funeral march.
The “Miami Herald” has hailed Wyse as "a musician of uncommon perception …possessing lots of facility and fire." He has appeared in concert throughout North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The concert is free and open to the public.
