Community BBQ

WEST STOCKHOLM: The West Stockholm United Methodist Church is having a free community BBQ from noon until all are served. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, salad, cookies and drinks. Donations will be accepted.

Festival of Foods

NORFOLK: Parish of the Visitation and St. Raymond’s is hosting its annual Festival of Foods and Summer Social at the Father Amyot Parish Center, 3 Morris St., 11:30 a.m. and ending with a raffle at 2:30 p.m.; includes the American Booth featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausage, summer salads, mac and cheese, chili and corn on the cob; other tasting booths will offer foods from Chinese, Mexican, Hungarian, French, Italian and Irish cuisine; admission is $8 or $4 for children 5 to 12 years old, children younger than 5 years old eat for free; all meals include a Make Your Own Sundae and a beverage; simple kids meal is available for children 5 to 12 years old for $2, which includes a hot dog, chips, beverage, and a sundae; cake spin, silent auction, Chinese auction, bingo for gift cards to local businesses, Whoo’s the Winner?, Pepsi ring toss and various children’s games; raffle at 2:30 p.m. will offer 42 different prizes, including a $100 prize, ten $50 prizes, ten $25 prizes, as well as 21 other prizes, tickets will be on sale throughout the social until the time of the drawing.
