Jazz for Alderson

POTSDAM: Benefit concert to help raise money for medical expenses for local musician Dave Alderson, 1-5 p.m., “Jazz the Way You Are: A Concert for Dave Alderson,” at Maxfields, 5-7 Market St., featuring some of the area’s most talented musicians; $10 donation at the door, music and a light buffet; Alderson was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 concert which has spread to his brain; over $6,000 has been raised towards a $10,000 goal on a cloud funding page for the cause: to donate, visit https://fundly.com/william-d-alderson.
