POTSDAM: Former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Narayana Kocherlakota will give a talk on the United States’ economic outlook, Clarkson University, Bertrand H. Snell Hall Room 213, 1:30-2:30 p.m.; Kocherlakota was president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis from 2009-2015, and served on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the monetary policy making arm of the Federal Reserve System; active commentator on the economy, with appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg, and National Public Radio; Bloomberg Opinion columnist since 2016; named one of the top 100 global thinkers of 2012 by Foreign Policy magazine.
