DEKALB JUNCTION: Seven Steeples spaghetti supper, 5-6:30 p.m., DeKalb Junction United Methodist Church; free will offering; will support Clarkson’s Students Without Borders Medical trip to Nicaragua.
Turkey dinner
MASSENA: Massena VFW Post 1143, 101 W. Hatfield St, hosting turkey dinner, 4-6 p.m.; includes dressing, mashed potatoes, tossed salad, vegetable, roll, dessert, coffee, tea, water; $10, take-outs available at the door, public welcome; proceeds to fund local veterans programs.
Cheese sampling
POTSDAM: Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St., hosting Cheese of the Month sampling from 3:30-5:30 p.m.; featured will be NYS Harpersfield Farmstead Cheese made with Black IPA from Muddy River Farm Brewery, Unadilla, NY; full-flavored “tilsit” cheese produced in the old European style; flavored with a black IPA made with two kinds of hops from the Muddy River Farm and Brewery.
