OGDENSBURG: Family book club meets, 5 p.m. Ogdensburg Public Library, 312 Washington St.; free to attend, featuring book “Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer” by Kelly Jones.

Family literacy night

PARISHVILLE: Parishville-Hopkinton Central School will hold a family literacy night event, 6 p.m., in the cafeteria; open to families of students from Head Start up to grade 3; theme for the event is camping; school staff will provide a read-aloud, fun activities, s'mores, and crafts; families can create a literacy game to take home, take photos in the photo booth, read in a tent, and more; parents can also ask questions to school staff members at the Q&A booth; 315-265-4642.

NORWOOD: Teen game night, 2:30-4:30 p.m., Norwood Public Library, 1 Morton St.; games include Unstable Unicorns, Clue, Exploding Kittens and more; may bring your own games to share; free, no registration necessary.
