Stroke recovery group
OGDENSBURG: United Helpers will be hosting a stroke recovery support group at RiverLedge Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Ogdensburg at 6 p.m.; group, which meets the third Thursday of the month, is free for all stroke patients and/or their caregivers; topics will vary from month to month and some meetings will include a guest speaker; led by certified stroke rehabilitation specialist Alycia Dezell, amdezell@unitedhelpers.org, 315-393-0730 ext. 2432.
SUNY Canton exhibitions
CANTON: Part of SUNY Canton’s weeklong Scholarly Activities Celebration, SUNY Canton Graphic and Multimedia Design program will host two art exhibitions: a senior showcase, noon-4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 16, 17, and 18 at the Roos House Convocation, Athletic and Recreation Center and a portfolio presentation from students enrolled in the Professional Practices course Thursday, April 18, in the Miller Campus Center, Rooms 218-220; included works in both shows will represent a variety of media including photography, illustration and graphic design; free, open to public.
