Youth theater
HEUVELTON: Seventeen students from Canton, Heuvelton, Colton, Edwards-Knox, Ogdensburg, Parishville, Malone, and Rochester will perform during the Oswegatchie Youth Arts Program’s third annual musical theater workshop at Pickens Hall Opera House, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” performance 3 p.m., open dress rehearsal 7 p.m.; two casts will perform a dress rehearsal and a performance; Mollie Ladouceur from Heuvelton is the program director, Jonathan Stinson from Connecticut is music director, and Noelle Dutch from Ogdensburg is stage manager; “The Bee” is a comedy about six awkward spelling champions who learn that winning (and losing) isn't everything.
