POTSDAM: SUNY Potsdam Geology Professor Emeritus Dr. Frank Revetta, Hon. '05, hosts planetarium show " Motions in the Heavens," 4 p.m., SUNY Potsdam’s Dr. Frank A. Revetta Planetarium, basement of Stowell Hall; 45 minutes, all ages welcome; arrive early, once show starts the doors are locked; no food or drink allowed inside, cell phones cannot be used during the show; free parking in Lot 6 near Kellas Hall; free.

Stage Band Festival

NORWOOD: Norwood Village Green Concert Series 46th Annual Season opens with the annual St. Lawrence County Music Educators Association Pop Choral/Stage Band Festival, 3 p.m.; performing groups from 9 performing groups from 6 local school districts; nvgcs.or, 315-261-2866.

Open mic night
