CANTON: Writer Chanelle Benz, who will speak at 6:30 p.m. as part of SUNY Canton’s popular Living Writers Series in the Richard W. Miller Campus Center's Kingston Theater; Benz will read from her new novel, "The Gone Dead," which was highlighted on NPR's "Weekend Edition." The story follows a female protagonist, Billie James, who stumbles upon a mystery surrounding her father's suspicious death thirty years prior; free, open to public; info: www.canton.edu/writers.
Blood drive
