Women composers concert
POTSDAM: SLC Arts presents an evening of music with The Carriage House Quartet at Marigold Kitchen and Bakery , 21 Market St.; from 6-7:30 p.m.; quartet members perform and discuss works by female composers including Rhiannon Giddens, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, and Florence Price; the string group members are Maggie McKenna and Jennifer Kessler, violins, Erin Brooks, viola and Robert Docker, cello; complimentary tea and coffee will be available, as week as limited menu of snacks and pastries for purchase; suggested donation $10; more info at www.slcartscouncil.org.
