ON THE MENU ON WEDNESDAY
Lenten luncheon
MASSENA: Lenten luncheon, a local 50-year tradition, St. John’s Episcopal Church, 139 Main St.; ecumenical worship service at noon on five Wednesdays during Lent, starting on March 13, and continuing through April 10; sponsored by the Greater Massena Ministerial Association; each week’s service is conducted by a different member of the local clergy; hymns, scripture readings, and a brief message; lunch in the church social hall follows each service, starting at approximately 12:30; members of several local churches will prepare and serve the meals; offering will be accepted to benefit the Massena Meals on Wheels; will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. Please watch the school cancellation notices; goulash and Caesar salad, prepared by Emmanuel UCC.

COLTON: Lenten lunches, noon, sponsored by TREC served at the St. Patrick’s Parish Center; all welcome.
Free dinner
NORWOOD: The monthly goodwill community dinner at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 42 South Main St., will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. This month’s dinner will include ham and noodle casserole, veggies and dip, rolls and bar cookies. There is no charge.
