Dairy Dialogue

CANTON: Cornell Cooperative Extension North Country Regional Ag Team is co-sponsoring a local Dairy Dialogue event, 6:30 p.m., St. Lawrence University campus located in the Sykes Common Room, 23 Romoda Dr.; Dairy Dialogue events are held throughout the state allowing community members to connect and converse with local dairy farmers; www.nyanimalag.org.

Fire district election

MADRID: Annual election of the Madrid Fire District, 6-9 p.m., Madrid Fire Station, 6 Church St.; voters will elect one commissioner for a five-year term; candidates for the District must submit a signed letter of intent to the secretary of the Madrid Fire District, P.O. Box 69, Madrid 13660; any candidate for the offices must be 18 years of age, a resident of the Madrid Fire District and registered with the St Lawrence County Board of Elections.

Seniors meet

MADRID: Next meeting for the Seaway Valley Senior Citizens will be Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Madrid Community Building at noon; annual Christmas luncheon for members only; cost for members is $6 and has to be paid prior to the luncheon; 315-764-5804.
