Rainbow of Hope
OGDENSBURG: Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s Richard E. Winter Cancer Center will host its 21st annual Rainbow of Hope Celebration to commemorate National Cancer Survivors Day, Golden Dome, registration from 3-3:45 p.m. followed by dinner at 4 p.m.; meal is free for survivors, and $5 for guests; guest speaker is Assemblyman Mark Walczyk, musical entertainment will be provided; reservations: 315-393-2314 by May 31.
Pond scooping
MASSENA: Join the nature center staff for a free pond exploration; wear boots; 10-11 a.m; Nicandri Nature Center, 19 Robinson Bay Rd.
Dog walk
OGDENSBURG: 17th annual dog walk, Dobisky Visitors Center, 100 Riverside Drive; registration 12:30-1 p.m., walk 1-3 p.m.; rain or shine; door prizes and special prize to top fundraiser; pledge sheets available at St. Lawrence Valley SPCA; dogs must be at least 4 months old and have current rabies vaccination.
