POTSDAM: More than 100 vendors are expected at the annual Craft, Food & Wine Show at Maxcy Hall Fieldhouse at SUNY Potsdam, Friday, Nov. 1 from noon-8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., presented by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and supported by United Helpers, The Arc Jefferson-St. Lawrence and Community Bank; local artisans will be selling handcrafted or homemade products, including food, jewelry, quilts, furniture, hand-turned bowls, and rolling pins, photography, artwork, and more; wine tastings will be available from a number of regional producers; parking is available directly behind Maxcy Hall Fieldhouse; $5 admission; children 12 and younger are admitted free; 315-386-4000, or www.VisitSTLC.com.

Psychic, holistic faire

CANTON: 12th annual Mystical Journey Psychic & Holistic Faire will be held Nov. 1, 3 and 3 at the Best Western University Inn, 90 E. Main St.; 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, from 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 and from 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3; well known psychics and mediums, an astro palm reader, healers, muscle testing, aura photographer; vendors offering stones and crystals for sale, clothing and jewelry; workshops and free lectures throughout the weekend; $6 per day or $9 for the weekend, senior rates are $5 per day or $8 for the weekend, students and military personnel pay $3 per day or $5 per weeken; www.therealmshift.com/events for more details.

ST. REGIS FALLS: Food Bingo will be held at the St. Regis Falls Adult Center 26 N River Rd; doors open at noon; games start at 12:45 p.m.

Free rabies clinic

CANTON: St. Lawrence County Public Health Department is hosting the last free rabies clinic of 2019, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Canton Human Services Building (out back), located in Canton on State Highway 310; pre-registration required at https://www.health.ny.gov/gotoclinic/45; bring a current rabies certificate (not a rabies tag) if one is available, as this is the proof of vaccination; 315-386-2325.

Holiday showcase opens

CANTON: TAUNY invites holiday shoppers to shop for products made by local artists and makers this season at the annual North Country Folkstore Holiday Showcase reception, 2-4 p.m., The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.; featuring the work of Johanna Kingsley of DeKalb Junction, and Marie Cogar of Wellsprings Spectrum, Saranac Lake, showcase is a temporary expansion of the Folkstore during the holiday season and features a wide variety of additional locally-made products in The TAUNY Center’s first floor gallery space.
