MACOMB: Macomb Community Wesleyan Church hosting chicken & biscuit dinner, 4-6 p.m. at the church at the junction of County Routes 10 and 7 in Pierces Corners; chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetable, baked beans, pie/cake, drink for $10, children 6-12 pay $5, 5 and younger eat for free; take-outs available; benefits building fund; 315-578-2255.

Indian food fundraiser

CANTON: The Yoga Loft hosting an Evening of Indian Food Fundraiser at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Harvest Kitchen on Route 68; on the menu is cumin rice, curry potatoes, navratan korma (vegetable curry), moong dal, and burfi (a traditional Indian dessert); three seatings will be offered -- 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 p.m.; tickets are $35 per person, $30 each for two or three, or $25 each for four or more; take-out will be available for $25 per person; reserve a spot at cantonyogaloft.regfox.com/indian-food-dinner; proceeds from the dinner will help sustain and grow the organization’s community-based programs.

Alumni chicken BBQ

CANTON: Canton FFA alumni chicken barbecue to support Help Sami Kick Cancer foundation from 4-7 p.m., The Lodge at Dreaming Tree Ranch, 185 Wilkinson Rd.; vendors with wish lists of items to furnish The Lodge will be on hand, and orders placed through them will give credit to The Lodge for the purchase of needed items; vendors include Pampered Chef, Jodi Reagan, Princess House, Bette Prashaw, Partylite, Rose Martin, Arbonne, Natalie DiSalvo, Thirty One Bags, Amy DiSalvo, MaryKay, Nicole Curtis, and Countryside Therapeutic Massage, Tracy Knowlton; DJ Rocking Rob will play music; Fall Festival type games available for the kids.

Turkey pie dinner

HOPKINTON: 70th annual turkey pie dinner, 5 p.m., Hopkinton Town Hall, sponsored by Hopkinton Congregational Church; $9, pie, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, cranberries, dessert, drink; proceeds benefit local fire department, rescue squad, food pantry, Red Cross, Hospice & Palliative Care, Hopkinton Historical Society, Helping Hands.
