POTSDAM -- Clarkson University will host the fifth annual Warrior Fest on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 3-5 p.m.
This event celebrates and supports the contributions of veterans in the North Country. This event is open to the public and family friendly.
The event will feature several raffles and giveaways, a sled hockey match between the Fort Drum Mountain Wounded Warriors and the Kingston (Ontario) Knights and a “Skate with a Warrior.” The puck drops 3 p.m. in Cheel Arena.
The sled hockey game will be preceded by the regular Fort Drum Mountaineers hockey team playing a group of North Country Veterans at 1:15 p.m.
The cost per person over the age of 12 is $5, and children under 12 are free. Family packs are available for $10. The first 200 tickets sold will include a free hot dog and popcorn.
