WADDINGTON — The Waddington Historical Association kicks off its First Sunday’s Concert Series at St. Paul’s, Lincoln Avenue, on Sunday, April 2, from 2-3:30 p.m. featuring the Carriage House Quartet, a professional string quartet based in Potsdam. The group performs various genres including baroque, classical, romantic, new music, pop/rock and tangos.
This spring/fall concert series is dedicated to the memory of Ruth Brady who was a Waddington Museum Board member.
The concerts are free to the public but donations to the WHA will be accepted for future performances.
The series includes: May 7 Microburst, June 4 MWCS Singers & Josh Barkley, Oct.1 Steelin' Country, Nov. 5 String Solstice, and Dec. 3 Christmas Concert.
The April concert is made possible by the support of Cindy Brady.
May, October and November concerts are being made possible with funds from the statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, and administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
