WADDINGTON -- The Waddington Figure Skating Club, a Basic Skills Club (Snow Plow Sam through Freestyle 6), is looking for new members.
The club skates on Friday evenings at the Louisville Arena. Instructors provide group lessons for all levels with private lessons available.
As weather permits, club members will skate in Waddington in addition to Louisville.
The season will begin in October on a date to be announced later and will end with a figure skating show and testing in March. Club membership also provides an opportunity for skaters looking for more ice time.
Total cost is $250 per child. Fees include $50 registration fee per child with fund-raising opportunities available for the balance of fees.
Registration will take place Monday, Sept. 12 at the Waddington Arena from 6:30 – 8 p.m. There will also be an informational table at the Madrid-Waddington Central School open house on Sept. 15. Final registration will be Oct. 1 at the Waddington Arena from noon – 2 p.m.
