CANTON — There will be a virtual information session on local opportunities for hosting athletes, visitors, media and more from around the world to Canton and Potsdam for preliminary hockey games of the 2023 FISU World University Games in January 2023.
The session, organized by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23 , at 10 a.m.
The information session will include updated information from the FISU World University Games Organizing Committee as well as local Chamber opportunities for businesses.
Several local promotions and activities for fans, visitors and volunteers are being organized by the St. Lawrence County, Canton and Potsdam Chambers of Commerce. Additional activities are planned by the Lake Placid Business Association.
