CANTON — The Unitarian Universalist Church of Canton will host a presentation on Alzheimer’s disease on Thursday, May 11, at 7 p.m.
Victoria Sokolowski, Program Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter, will deliver a presentation titled “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia.”
Participants will learn about the impact of Alzheimer's, the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia, stages and risk factors, current research and treatments available for some symptoms, and Alzheimer’s Association resources.
This presentation is free and open to all interested community members.
