Two carp fishing tournaments are being planned on the St. Lawrence River in the coming months.
The St. Lawrence Invitational Showdown is set for May 27-30 and will see 30 teams compete for a $9000 first prize.
The entry fee is $900 per team, up to four anglers.
The top prize increases to $15,000 for the St. Lawrence Carp Marathon, which is planned July 19-24.
The entry fee is $2000 and teams can be 2-4 people, including a runner.
