LOUISVILLE -- Due to the great uncertainty associated with the phased reopening from the pandemic pause, the 2020 Louisville Turtle Trot Walk-Run scheduled for July 11 has been cancelled.
Although it has been the policy in the past not to refund registration fees due to this being a fundraiser for the Louisville Volunteer Fire Department, this year is different, said organizers in a press release.
If you have already pre-registered and wish a refund contact Nancy Foster via email, nlfoster@twcny.rr.com.
The committee is very disappointed the event has to be cancelled but feel that the safety of participants and volunteers is of the utmost importance, the press release said.
