DEKALB — The Town of DeKalb is holding two days for residents to drop off bulk trash items at the town barn. Richville and DeKalb citizens can drop off their old appliances, lumber, metal, electronics, and plastic toys at the Town Barn at 2810 NY-812 on Thursday, May 11, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday, May 13, 8 a.m.-noon.
Items not accepted: paint, mattresses, box springs, construction materials, hazardous materials, household garbage.
Residents may drop off up to two tires and they must be off the rims.
Seniors and disabled residents who need assistance dropping off their items can contact Janice Brabaw at 315-514-9330.
