NORWOOD — A tour of the Seaway Tech BOCES facility is planned for Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 8:30-11 a.m. Registration is now open.
St. Lawrence County Business Connections Committee is partnering with the St. Lawrence-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) to organize the student-led tour.
Seaway Tech in Norwood serves an average of 500 students from nine component school districts in the following programs:
Alternative Education (GED)
Automotive Technologies
Building Trades
Cosmetology
CREATE
Criminal Justice
Culinary Arts
Education and Human Services
Electrical Technologies (Coming Fall 2023)
Health Careers
HVAC/R
Metalworking
Natural Resource Management
New Visions: Medical Careers
Software Development and Business Design
Advance registration is required, and space is limited.
Breakfast will be provided by the Culinary Arts students
This is a valuable networking opportunity so bring business cards.
The Seaway Tech campus will adhere to COVID-19 protocols (masking, distancing) in place for the schools at the time of the event.
Organizers will follow the school policy for cancellations or delays for inclement weather on the day of the event.
The next BOCES Business Connections will be a tour on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 8:30-11 a.m. at Ogdensburg’s Northwest Tech, 1020 Park S. Registration opens Jan. 19.
