POTSDAM – Trapeze tricks, magicians, jugglers and acrobatics are on tap Sunday, March 3 at 2:30 p.m. at Potsdam High School Gym when Billy Martin’s Cole All Star Circus returns.
Aerial acrobat Sierra Jones, The One-Wheeled Wonder Wesley Williams, magic costume quick-change artists Alex and Elena, Russian juggler Ivan Arestov, multi-talented J.P. Toscano, hula hoopist Sasha Arestov, and trapeze artist Angela Martin will entertain in classic circus style.
Billy Martin joined the Cole Circus in after graduating high school in 1977. He performed a juggling/balancing act, served as ringmaster, and became owner James M. Cole's right hand man.
When Cole retired at the age of 80, Billy purchased the show and remains at its helm today.
Together with his wife Angela, an accomplished aerialist and consummate circus performer, they continue the rich, grand legacy of the Cole All-Star Circus, performing to yet another generation, said the circus website.
All children 12 years old and younger are admitted free with an adult. Free passes are available on the circus website at www.billymartincircus.com.
Adult tickets are $10 in advance and available at the school offices, or $15 at the door.
