CANTON – An American Girl doll tea party will once again delight young ladies in the area with new and exciting crafts and activities.
Many surprises are in store on May 7 at the First Presbyterian Church on the Park.
Children are encouraged to dress up and bring a doll to dine with. Tickets go on sale at the library on April 1 at 9:30 a.m. and cost $12 each.
The Friends of the Library Committee will be selling raffle tickets throughout April for a chance to win a brand-new American Girl Doll donated by McDonald’s Restaurant in Canton. The winner will be drawn at the end of the tea party on May 7.
The Friends of the Library Committee is also seeking donations of new or gently used American Girl Dolls, clothing, outfits, or accessories, as well as 18-inch doll furniture and handcrafted items. These items, and more, will be on sale at the tea party. To donate items, contact Sarah Coburn, 854-0237 or sarahcoburn44@gmail.com; or Kristen Jaskowski, 714-2338 or kristenj@twcny.rr.com.
All funds raised at this event will benefit the Canton Free Library’s Children’s program.
