POTSDAM – The St. Lawrence County Arts Council will hold an opening reception of an exhibit of watercolor paintings by Michiko Taylor of Potsdam Friday, July 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Main Street gallery.
Taylor creates delicate portraits of flowers and everyday items that evoke memories and capture a moment in time.
The exhibit will be on display through Aug. 20.
Taylor is a self-taught artist originally from Fukuoka, Japan.

Immediately following this event, author Dale Hobson will sign copies of A Drop of Ink, his newest book of poems.
