CANTON — The “fiberistas” at TAUNY, 53 Main St., have been creative recently and have new quilts to share with the community.
Their latest slice quilt, Connecting the Blue Dots, will be exhibited in the upper level of The TAUNY Center from May 15 through June 19. The exhibit will also feature other quilts made in recent months by members of the group.
The “fiberistas” are North Country artists interested in exploring and expanding the boundaries of fiber arts. Past works have been exhibited including “Landscape”, “A Sugarbush Slice”, and “A Slices Quilt of Canton’s Main Street”.
To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, the “fiberistas” will join for a live virtual event through Zoom on May 19 at 6:30 p.m.
