CANTON — The TAUNY Center on Main Street will host the workshop Beginning Spinning: Fibers and Folklore on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 6-7:30 p.m.
The registration fee is $15.
Tilly Lind will show how to spin wool using spindles and a spinning wheel, and she will share stories and folklore about spinning while you practice. Hot tea and cookies will be provided.
Maximum class size is 6 students.
Registration is required. The registration fee includes the use of spindles and wool in class, and students can take a spindle kit home for an additional $20.
