OGDENSBURG – A nine-week summer reading program with a new ocean theme each week, book walks, prizes for reading and crafts will be offered at Ogdensburg Public Library.
The program will be kicking off with Shark Week on July 5.
Reading incentives will be given out all summer in the form of raffle tickets and small prizes. Every five chapters or picture books read will earn children a prize and ticket for one of our grand prizes. Grand prize winners will be drawn after August 31.
“Stop in to pick up your Summer Reading Log today,” said Dorian Lenney-Wallace, Children’s Librarian.
Reading logs can also be obtained by visiting https://ogdensburgpubliclibrary.org/youth-services-2/ and scrolling down below Events.
Crafts in the Park will be available every week.
