POTSDAM -- Summer programs for children in grades 1 through 6 at the North Country Children's Museum on Raymond Street are scheduled for August.
State public health and safety guidelines will be strictly adhered to.
Programs will be held Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Space is limited to 12 participants per week.
Each program will cost $195 per week and members receive a 10% discount.
Scheduled are:
• Videography, Aug. 3-7 -- Come explore the world of videography as we experiment with different forms of filming and editing techniques. Children can share completed projects through NCCM social media.
• 3D Design, Aug. 10-14 -- Children will experiment with different kinds of materials to create 3D art and design. We’ll display some of our final pieces in public spaces.
• Gaming, Aug. 17-21 -- It’s all fun and games until somebody breaks the rules. In this program, we’ll get hands-on playing and designing some of humanity’s oldest pastimes, board and card games.
• Wicked Weather, Aug. 24-28 -- Through hands-on art and science projects, we’ll explore possibilities for creative solutions to climate change.
