NORWOOD - Summer events and activities continue at the Norwood Beach.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Aug. 7: My Mile for Hospice Swim Event! Kickoff at 8 a.m. There is still time to register to participate or volunteer by logging on to www.mymileforhospice.org

Friday, Aug. 13: Cop v. Kids Kickball at 5 p.m. Kids can sign up to participate by calling 315-353-9965.

Friday, Aug. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m.: A concert at the Beach featuring "11B"

Saturday, Aug. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Family Day-Bike Safety w/Josh Eng at 9 a.m., Healthy and Nutrition Activities with SNAP ED educator Whitney Callaghan

Saturday, Aug. 14 at 8:30 p.m.: Movie Night featuring the Movie "SCOOB" hosted by the Seaway Valley Prevention Council

Sunday, Aug. 15 from noon to 3 p.m.: Norwood Lake Association Paddle Poker Run. Registration is $10/participant in advance and $15/participant the day of the event. Music by "Past Doubt" and "The Norwood Brass Fireman"

Saturday, Aug. 28 at 7:30 a.m. BEACH to BEACH 20K. This event will be a "Donation" event to benefit the Norwood and Potsdam Snack Pack Programs. Participants can run, bike, skate as individuals or relay style from Norwood Beach to Postwood Park.

Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m.: Norwood Beach Duathlon $5/participant
