MADRID -- Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who represents the 21st U.S. Congressional District that includes St. Lawrence County, will be helping out at the USDA Milk Drive in Madrid at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
The event will be held at 2582 State Route 345. With the help of Madrid-Waddington Central School District and local fire and rescue first responders from Madrid and Waddington more than 21,000 pounds of food will be distributed. There will be 360 boxes of produce, 373 boxes of meat, and 362 boxes of dairy items, each containing 20 pounds of products. Each vehicle will receive one of each box, while supplies last.
Stefanik will then join Team Elise volunteers and supporters at the Potsdam campaign office, 19 Depot St., at 11:30 a.m. for Super Saturday.
There will be Stefanik and Trump sign distributions, door knocking, volunteers making calls and candidate speeches.
