POTSDAM -- Spring Into Fitness, a fitness sampling fundraiser for the Health Initiative, runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 5 at SUNY Potsdam’s Maxcy Hall.
The event, open to the public, will allow folks to try up to five fitness classes for $5 at the door.
Information sessions will cover nutrition, weight management, exercise and health screenings.
The fitness classes that will be offered include Zumba, Jazzercise, tae kwon do, boot camp, yoga, and cardio-kickboxing.
All of these programs will be taught by local instructors who have donated their time and talent.
