OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg Command Performances 48th Season opens Wednesday, Oct. 19 with Monty Python’s Spamalot, the outrageously funny musical comedy lovingly “ripped off” from the popular film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

This 2005 Tony Award winner for Best Musical and Best Director, as well as the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for Best Musical, follows the legendary King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail…flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting Frenchmen, and show-stopping musical numbers leave audiences everywhere begging for more!

Curtain time is 7:45 p.m. in George Hall Auditorium at Ogdensburg Free Academy, 1100 State Street.

To purchase tickets [$16 to $35 – discounts for senior citizens, students, groups of 15 or more, and “Friends”] or for more information, contact 393-2625, www.ogdensburgk12.org or ocp@ogdensburgk12.org.

These performances are made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.
