GOUVERNEUR -- The American Legion will host a live benefit auction and spaghetti dinner to benefit local resident Greeta Sharpe at noon on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Dinner will be $8 a plate, and take out or eat in options are available.
The live auction will begin at 2 p.m. and will feature auctioneer David Bush of Gouverneur.
Jamie Tupper of Strandz in Gouverneur will be on site selling New York Yankee blue hair extensions for $5 each.
There will be lots of raffles, including a lottery tree for $200 and a 50/50 drawing, as well as a silent auction of smaller prizes.
A DJ will provide entertainment during the day, followed by a live band in the evening.
