CANTON — St. Lawrence University Chaplain’s Office will host its 15th-annual gospel music workshop, “Got Spirit?” starting on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
The four-day workshop and concert will be led by the Rev. Shaun Whitehead, and will feature guest workshop-leader Mario Vaughn of the Award Winning Chicago Mass Choir.
All faiths, religions, and spiritual traditions are welcome to register, as well as all singing levels.
No experience is necessary. The workshop fee is $7.
The workshop will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, Thursday, Feb. 28, and Friday, Mar. 1, and again from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Mar. 2.
Workshop participants will take part in the Gospel Concert at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 3, in Gunnison Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.
