Due to the extreme temperatures forecast for Saturday, the Nature Up North team invites you to join us for a morning of sledding at the SUNY Canton Sledding Hill, now scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 5.
Come on your own or in teams of 2-4 with your homemade cardboard sleds for the coldest race in the North Country. Races will be held by division: Youth (12 & under), Open, Family, or College (students only).
Approved sled-building materials: cardboard, duct tape, recycled plastic bags, paint, and glue.
Sleds will be judged for speed as well as creativity, with prizes awarded to teams winning their division!
Register ahead of time by emailing info@natureupnorth.org or the day of.
Registration will run from 10:00 - 10:30, with a "parade of sleds" and sled judging at 10:30.
Races begin immediately after judging.
